AI for Girls Workshop: Empowering Young Women of African Descent in Artificial Intelligence
About the Workshop
The AI for Girls Workshop series is aimed at middle and high school students. This event is crafted to empower young women to step into the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Led by Dr. Yetunde Folajimi, an internationally-recognized computer scientist and advocate for diversity in tech, this workshop embodies her lifelong commitment to empowering the next generation of AI innovators. We've held successful editions in 2022 at the AAAI Conference in the United States and in 2023 at the AIRC Workshop in Nigeria. We are excited to continue this tradition.
